Is anyone else having this problem? I periodically get an error on this site: A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue. Script: ads.proboards.com/ad.pl…=48&cb=0.738755561050894&uid=9:0I don't know if the number is the same every time, but the "ads.proboards.com" is. The problem is that it jams up all of Firefox, often for several minutes. No matter if I choose "stop" or "continue" it freezes this page and every other window I have open, then pops back up again some seconds later with the same message. Over and over and over and over. Kind of annoying, to put it mildly. I put up with it for a while but when it started happening about once every day or two, I turned AdBlocker back on for the Writers Den site. Sorry about that, Chris, but I'm not sure what else to do. Help?

I actually get those quite frequently on a lot of different sites, including Facebook. I think it's a problem with Firefox. I hate IE and I'm not a fan of Chrome, so I put up with it on FF.
I'll look into it and see if there is something going on with Proboards that might be triggering it. I suspect it might be a matter of changing settings on Firefox, but I can't be sure.

You can try some of the suggestions here if you like. See if one of these solutions works for you. Mozilla Support

I don't have that script issue at all, but I use Safari (since I'm on my Mac). It likely may be something with the internet browser, like Chris suggested.

I get the "unresponsive script" once in a while on other sites, but only once, and then it resolves. Whereas I get it on this site regularly, and over and over and over. Ohhhhh wait, that's probably because it happens with certain ads, and I have Ad Blocker activated all the time on other sites, and only unblocked ads for your site. The advice on the Mozilla site suggests changing the settings to let the script run longer, but that's exactly what I'm doing when I click on "continue" and it still takes many times longer to complete than normal. And disabling scripts on your site would be the same as blocking the ad, wouldn't it? Well, at least I found a way to solve the problem, even if it's not ideal.

I usually hit "stop script" when I get those pop ups and that seems to resolve the issue faster for me. I'm sure my problem is on of my Firefox extensions, but I'm too lazy to play around with it and figure out which one. I'll keep researching this to see if there's anything else I can do but I doubt I can make any changes to the forum that would make a difference (other than paying for it which would stop the ads, but I'm not ready to do that just yet )

Like, minimum 5 times, sometimes 10+ times. I doubt there's anything you can do on your end, I'm sorry!
