I am doing this challenge and today's prompt is… Watch Your Tone
Look back at your stories from this month and see which tone comes most naturally to you…
Continuing the journey of discovering what comes naturally to you and harnessing that.
The prompt
Story focusing on one consistent tone
The thing is, what would you say my tone actually is? As far as I can see I write all different kinds of stories and none of them would be my natural go to Tone. Anybody who reads my stories have any ideas on this? (I am possibly overthinking this!)

I'm not even sure what tone is. Maybe it would help to find a couple good descriptions about different writing tones and you might recognize it that way?
I was actually having a similar thought yesterday, when it occurred to me that my short stories all have the same "Eneana" feel to me, even though they vary on topic, funny versus sad, etc. Yet I couldn't figure out what I meant by that feel. My author "voice," I guess? I wonder if I would understand all of this better if I'd been through years of classes about literature and writing in an MFA program, but then I try to read that material and it seems so disconnected from real-world writing.

I am guessing whether it is spooky, funny, serious, or maybe sad.
